LiDAR/Clutter Visualization

With Release 2.3.1 cnHeat now offers the ability to visualize the underlying LiDAR/Clutter for your cnHeat projects.

Note: The clutter values for an area are stored in the predictions, so you must first run a prediction for the area of interest to effectively use this feature.

To use the feature just click the button with the building icon in the upper right corner.

Heights are color coded from blue(1ft/0.3m) to red(>80ft/>24.4m).

This tool can be useful because it can show discrepancies between the satellite imagery (provided by Google) and the underlying LiDAR.

Example:
Here we can see new construction and see which homes are captured in the LiDAR vs the ones captured at a later date in the satellite imagery.
