Quick question!

Can you make a link with a lite radio to a full radio? IE a PTP600 to a PTP600 Lite?

No. You need to have matching ends.

Actually Motorola PTP group can give you a key to turn a PTP600 full down to a 600 lite to use in this type of situation. You would need to call and talk to support about this.

You can purchase a Lite to Full upgrade for a single end.

Out of the box there’s no way to do it, but as everyone is pointing out you can either purchase an upgrade key for the one end, or you can contact PTP support (Julian is excellent) and obtain a temporary full to lite downgrade key for the one end and run your link until you can justify purchasing the lite to full upgrade for the other end.
