LinkPlanner 4.8.4 and path profile

Hello,

now I have update my version of LinkPlanner at 4.8.4.

The software doesn't download path profile, I have regenerate token but if I test, the results is:
"No JSON object could be decoded"

Do you can help me?

Thanks

Hi,

Have you configured your network settings correctly? See http://community.cambiumnetworks.com/t5/LINKPlanner/How-to-Obtain-Path-Profiles/td-p/38869.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi,

if I test connection I obtain the error in the attach file.

The message indicates that your settings aren’t correct. From the link that I sent:

"it may be necessary to configure the proxy server settings. LINKPlanner only supports “HTTP Basic” authentication, so if the proxy requires anything else, LINKPlanner cannot connect. This is most often caused by a setting with Microsoft’s proxy server, which by default only supports NTLM authentication. The preferred solution in this instance is to enable Basic authentication on the proxy."

Thanks,

Andy

Ok but my connection doesn't require a proxy.

I connect directly to internet.

Your settings were “use system settings”, have you tried “direct connection”?

Try visiting http://pathprofile.cambiumnetworks.com/config in your web browser. This is the file LINKPlanner loads when you test the connection.

In every browser I see the page that you post (a text page)

If I setup direct connection, the messages is the same.

Do you have to enter a user name and password in the web browser to enable access?

If not, do you have any firewall software installed which is intercepting the traffic and inserting additional text? A user has similar issues when their machine was infected with a virus.

Hi Andrew,

I have same problem,

I'm check our laptop no problem with connection to internet and our laptop direct to internet.
