LINKPlanner v5.7.2 is now available

A new release of the LINKPlanner is available from the download site.

The key features of 5.7.2 are:

PTP 820/850

  • Added PTP 820A with RFU-D in the Lower 6 GHz, Upper 6 GHz, 7 GHz, 8 GHz, 11 GHz, 13 GHz, 15 GHz, 18 GHz and 23 GHz band.
  • Added PTP 820A with RFU-D HP in the Lower 6 GHz, Upper 6 GHz, 7 GHz, 8 GHz and 11 GHz band.

Now PTP820A with RFU-D/RFU-D HP is available for FCC/IC and ETSI bands.

  • Added 375 MHz T/R Spacing for PTP 820G with RFU-C under the 8 GHz band and “Other” regulation.

To use 375 MHz T/R Spacing for PTP820G with RFU-C in 8 GHz band, select “Other” Regulation and then select the 375 MHz T/R Spacing option. Bandwidth options available are 7, 14, 28 and 56 MHz.

  • Added 160 MHz bandwidth for PTP 850C under “Other” regulation.

To use 160 MHz bandwidth for PTP 850C in 11 GHz and 18 GHz band, select “Other” Regulation.

  • Added 80 MHz bandwidth for PTP 850C, PTP 820S, PTP 820C HP, PTP 820F with RFU-D/RFU-D HP and PTP 820A with RFU-D/RFU-D HP products under the Upper 6 GHz band and ETSI regulation.
  • Updated ETSI 80 MHz MRMC script for PTP 850C, PTP 820F with RFU-D/RFU-D HP and PTP 820A with RFU-D/RFU-D HP.
  • Added 112 MHz bandwidth for PTP 820F with RFU-D/RFU-D HP and PTP 820A with RFU-D/RFU-D HP in the 11 GHz band and ETSI regulation.
  • Updated the default Ethernet Configuration option to L1 Link Bonding for Multiband configurations.

PTP 700

  • Allowed PTP 700 BSA to calculate Scan Losses based on the entered alignment error angles.

Users can now select to automatically calculate Scan Loss for the PTP700 BSA antenna based on alignment error angle.

To calculate the Scan Loss automatically, check the “Calculate” box next to the Scan Loss field and enter the Azimuth and Elevation Offset angles from the boresight, in degrees.
