Has anyone come across a media converter which will:
1. Accept analog, 4-wire audio in the form of an RJ-45 connector, as an input
2. Convert that analog 4-wire audio to fiber
Everything I am finding from a Google search is converting UTP to fiber, but the RJ-45 connector is pinned as, and expecting, and Ethernet connection.
It seems like a lot of people have trouble distinguishing between media converters and protocol converters.
Anyways, has anyone seen or come across a device like this?
Think you want this:

Googled: Audio over Fiber
Nice find Jerry.
You also probably can find something from Blackbox.
Thanks.
I was on the phone with Blackbox last night. They only have a POTS 2-wire to fiber converter…
Thanks for the info.
