I have just deployed my first Motorola 5.2 ap and I have one subscriber on the AP.
My question is without setting up BAM on a linux box. What would be the correct way to set the ap and the sm to only let the sm get 1000 kps. Right know they have full rain on my system.

Have you read the Canopy Operators manual? It’s thick I know, but if you are going to be deploying Canopy and wish to be successful, it’s a must read.
If you read it as a .pdf it has bookmarks to jump you to specific areas in the manual. You can also put it on a thumbnail drive and take it to a copy shop where they can print and bind it for you.
