Multiple IP Addresses Obtained by Single AP

I have identified a network issue wherein a single Access Point (AP) is acquiring multiple IP addresses from different VLANs. Although I have assigned an IP address to the Ethernet port, the AP is obtaining IP addresses for both the Ethernet port and the Virtual Interface. Consequently, the AP’s Graphical User Interface (GUI) is accessible through both the assigned IP address on the Ethernet port and the Virtual Interface corresponding to the VLAN-assigned IP addresses.

I seek advice on how to prevent access to the AP GUI through the Virtual Interface.

Please disable management access of VLAN-assigned IP addresses.

interface vlan 100
ip address zeroconf
ip dhcp request-option-all
ipv6 request-option-all
no management-access
ipv6 address autoconfig
ip address dhcp
!

Hi Nirajlochan,

Thank you for your response. If I follow this, will it affect the ability of my network end device to obtain an IP address from a different SSID (with a different VLAN ID assigned WLAN profile)? Is there a graphical option available in the AP GUI or cnMaestro?

No.

yes,

How many we see the detailed view of my eth port… it’s just showing the connected clients no hard wired clients . Although the DHCP is managed by mikrotik DHCP. On a bridge. Which is being run by cambiums roaming R K . But it gives out some certain values like udhcp wlan 16-18. Type things . I need to see the broader picture .
