We have customers that we have to bridge there radios so that they can play there PS3 online. Is there any setting that anyone knows of in the 900/2.4 radios to help with this other then bridging the radios?
Are you running the default IP address of 169.254.1.1 on the SMs? This is non-routeable address space, meaning it cannot be used for routing at all (such as a default gateway). Most devices violate this, however, the PS3 is one that actually adheres to the standard: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link-local_address#IPv4
When we bought a small local WISP we had a few customers complain of the same thing. Changed the inside IP address of the radio and off they went.
no we do not, use the default of 169.254.1.1, we use a 10.0.0.1
Interesting. Which firmware are you running? I know a lot of people on here that actually run NAT frequently complain of issues.
