New ePMP tower

Crane lift at 6AM

4 x ePMP2000 @ 5Ghz
4 x ePMP1000 @ 2Ghz

I love a successful morning erection.

Partially erect...Fully erect...The money shot...

Especially one that needs guy-wires. Can't have it swinging around in the wind.

What type of tower did you use? sort of looks like the Trylon STG type. If so, do you recommend that over the 45G from Rohn? is it easier to install with pins on the outside vs trying to get sections to fit over other sections? Sorry for the slightly off topic question :)

Hi Jonathan.  Yes, this is a Trylon STG with the 18" face.  I've never actually used the Rohn 45G, but Trylon says their tower is more cost effective and much much stronger.  I don't know personal comparison - but the Trylon STG have solid legs (not hollow tubes) and they are welded (not riveted) and the joints are external with a bolt through them - so I find these STG's very easy to align and simply drop the bolts in.

Again - I've never used the Rohn 45G so I can't really compare, but for me - these STG's are awesome to work with and most importantly, I trust them with my life. :)
