We had an issue yesterday where one of our PMP 450M AP’s main Ethernet interface unexpectedly went from 1000Base to 100Base. We have had this issue happen in the past and think it would be helpful if there was a way that we could get notified when this happens. Sort of like how CnMaestro sends notice when an AP is offline, but sending a notice that the ethernet has changed.
This would help us to be more proactive and address potential problems before they affect our customers.

cnMaestro should have alerts for this – plus configurable alerts on THE FREE VERSION of cnMaestro too. I realize that x subscriptions help fund development, but here we’re talking about an alert when a hardware Ethernet port malfunctions… that certainly should trigger an alert.
