OFDM Backhaul Spectrum

Hi chaps,

I’ve just ordered some OFDM backhauls in the 5.4 GHz licensed band and need to find out what amount of frequency spectrum it uses so that I can pay my license fees!!

Does anyone have this info please? I need it for all variants (speeds) of the 5.4 GHz range if poossible.

Thanks

Sam

I think BH30 and 60 are using 18 mhz and BH150 40 mhz with dual polarity antenna. With space diversity is twice that number. Check the manual, there is such data there.

Not sure about the 5.4 stuff, but the 5.7 GHz 30/60 Mbps use a 12 Mhz channel. I think the 150/300 uses a 30 Mhz wide channel.

NOTE - These channel widths do not change with space-diversity. :?

The 30 Uses 6 MHZ and the 60 uses 12 MHZ

30/60 is 12Mhz in 5.7/5.8 diversity optional, uses same amount of spectrum either way.

150/300 is 30Mhz in 5.7/5.8 Diveristy required for dual payload.

The PTP 400 (30/60) 5.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz use a 12 MHz wide channel. The PTP 600 (150/300) 5.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz has a user selectable channel size of 5, 10, 15, or 30 MHz. This user adjustable channel size is available in the next software release due in early September.
