ofdm backhaul speed problems

hello all its been awhile since my last post

been busier than all get out but now i have run into a major problem.

my ofdm back haul is getting very slow response from my one tower.

when i do a speed test via j perf from the tower to my data center it is in the kbits of around 300-500 kbits which sucks.

when i do the same test from data center to tower i get 4.5 megs i am a little confused i know that the backhauls are on different rx and tx freq and that i may get some interferance but i thought the ofdm does some freq hopping and up till now it has been fine.

these are 30/60 meg orthogon backhauls

Your signal looks pretty low. The radios are only connected at 2.99 and 3.99 mbps which for those radios is kinda low. Maybe you got some new interference in the area. Check your spectrum.

moose is right… your modulation is 2/3 that is extremely low… either the units have moved or there is interference…

spectrum scan… realignment…

yeah i was just up the tower today and did a repoint had to move my head end back haul 20 ft over and got somewhat better results.

still really low and really noisy.

it seems that some one decided to add some floors to the hospital that is right in front of our path and i think that is what is messing things up.
