I just upgraded our On-Premises cnMaestro Essentials to 5.1.0. I noticed it does not have report tab anymore. How can I get the report capability? paid version x?
Thanks,
Linda
Thanks for your reply!
The old essential version (2.x) has some report feature. Does 5.1.0 essential version have no any report features?
Regards,
Linda
I’m not certain about the reporting features in the old Essential version (2.x), as it was released over five years ago. However, in version 5.1.0, complete reporting capabilities are available as part of X only.

One of my biggest issues with cnMaestro X services is that they aren’t offered à la carte. If ePMP could reliably handle 120 subscribers while delivering high speeds, I wouldn’t need multiple access points to manage the load, making X services far more cost-effective for me.
Currently, we have over 100 access points due to older 1k and 2k ePMP models. Upgrading to 4500c units could cut that number by more than half as I decommission outdated equipment. However, the cost? Over $3,000 a year for a service that used to be free. It just doesn’t add up.
I understand Cambium needs to generate revenue, but by not offering à la carte options, they’re losing potential customers like me who are willing to pay for only the specific services we need. Another key point: while 4500c may cut the cost initially, adding 4600 products to the mix puts us back at over 100 access points, keeping the price point the same.
There’s no clear winner here, and I hope the development team responsible for these decisions is paying attention to this feedback.
