I don't know if I fully understand your question, but if you have connectivity to the device you want to upgrade and you are not being blocked by some security setting then it should work.

ok Thanks. i have 2 pierces  Cambium 3.3 - 3.6 GHz PMP 450 Connectorized and i like to connect point to point.

ubiquiti nanostation m3 ist possible accesspoint and station . why not cambium?

is better for peopel and for bussness.

For PMP 450, the SM is different hardware than the AP.  The AP has to do more, is more expensive to make, and therefore has a different price.  I totally understand the convenience of having one device fit all roles, but then customers would have to carry a stiff price tag for SMs.

hardware is ok ,why not give cambium software for this model Cambium 3.3 - 3.6 GHz PMP 450 Connectorized ap brigde and station brigde. i have disch antenna 26dbi and i can this point to point used.
