16 new certifications for the PMP 450: Point-to-Multipoint Certification took place this weekend before this weeks WISPApooloza. Cambium’s PMP 450 Certification course covers RF principles, GPS sync, installation procedures, initial deployment and configuration. Students walk thru the graphical user interface to learn in greater detail functions of QoS, networking and various security setup parameters. Students learned fundamentals of proper sizing of a PMP 450, 450i and 450m network including such topics as link budgets, network capacity and RF coverage basics. Then finally, tools and troubleshooting are discussed prior to taking the certification exam.
