PMP 450v 2x2 Backhaul SM to AP

We have a PMP450v 2x2 Backhual SM and we are trying setup one as an AP. We already activated using the entitlement id 2 days ago. No license keys yet recieve as of the moment. Just incase we got the license keys what will be the next step. Because I tried to access the PMP450 gui I dont see any option from the mode option to set it as an AP. Asking help….

Can you please be more specific what your end goal is? Are you trying to use this 450v 2x2 as a slave or master in PtP mode, or as an SM in PtMP configuration?

ALSO, have you tried updating to the newest available firmware version 25.0?

I’m not sure I understand this. PMP license keys are generated as soon as the entitlement is activated. If you check your Previous Activations page, you should see an entry for your completed upgrade.

It may help my understanding if you could list a few things about the radio in question.

  • What is the model number exactly?
  • What entitlement was purchased (part number)?
  • I gather from the above that you want to configure this radio as a BHM (Backhaul Main/Master). Is that correct? (AP is not the correct terminology for this… the 2x2 450v cannot ever be configured as an Access Point).

Sorry about the confusion, the setup that we want is PTP we want to have a master and slave.

  • What is the model number exactly? C060045C200A

  • What entitlement was purchased (part number)? C060045K001A
