PMP 450v - different carrier bandwidths

Will it be possible at some point to run different channel bandwidths on carrier 1 and 2 of the 450v at some point? For example, run a 30 or 40 Mhz channel on carrier one and 20+20Mhz on CC 1 and 2 of carrier 2?

I feel like maybe I remember this possibility being mentioned at some point, but perhaps I’m just imagining things?

Back in fall of 2024 I was told… “Using different bandwidths is planned for Q1 2025. We will support different bandwidths on different carriers, but when using two component carriers on the same carrier, you will have to use same bandwidth. So 30 MHz on carrier1 in 5.8 GHz and 40+40 MHz on carrier 2 in 6 GHz will work. But 30 MHz on carrier1 in 5.8 GHz with 30+40 MHz on carrier2 in 6 GHz will not be supported.”

I thought I had heard the same, thanks for confirming!

Hopefully this is still something in the works, since it certainly didn’t happen in 2025…

@CambiumAaron Any update on this? Thanks!

Yes, flexible component carrier bandwidths are still in the works. We should have Beta software available in August, with the target of Q4 release for R26.0, which has this feature.

That is great news @CambiumMatt . Thanks for the update!
