PMP450x Release 24.0.1 is now available

PMP450x System Release 24.0.1 is now available at https://support.cambiumnetworks.com/files/pmp450 and it is available on cnMaestro within 24 hours.

Release 24.0.1 is a maintenance release of Release 24.0 with primarily bug fixes.

All SMs CPY-19000 The SM minimum bridge table size changes from 4 to 64 in Release 24.0. The bridge table size range changes from 64 – 4096 in Release 24.0 to 1 – 4096 in Release 24.0.1.

450v CPY-19054 Engineering.cgi did not load sometimes due to non-printable characters.
450m and 450i AP CPY-19037 In Release 24.0 software, the Session Status β†’ LQI reported inaccurately low values. Uplink modulations from SMs were intermittently reporting a switch between 1X and the correct operating value. These issues were identified but did not affect performance.
450v CPY-19023 Reset occurred due to FatalError - NiFreeBuf() bfr already freed.
450v AP CPY-19016 AP had SM Receive Target Level defaulted to -49 instead of the normal -52.
450, 450i and 450m APs CPY-19011 Session drops were observed on operator sites running Release 24.0 on SMs, especially legacy 450 SMs.
450v SM CPY-19008 SM dropped sessions due to power adjust failure.
All SMs CPY-19006 cnMaestro did not display UL modulation rate of SMs running 24.0 firmware.
450i AP CPY-18528 AP went into rolling reboot with Restarted by CaOs after loading user SSL certificate.
450i AP CPYV-792 SMs registered to PMP 450i AP running 24.0 firmware dropped sessions.

We’re running this on our network and it’s resolved pretty much all the issues I was experiencing with the initial 24.0 release. That being said, operators that are using 450v, 450b6, and 450m 5GHz will benefit the most from this release.
