Poor MCS downlink/uplink

I have a few customers on one of my ePMP 2000 sectors that have a very poor MCS uplink/downlink values. Thay are complaining of poor performance. They are within a mile of the sector so I don’t think it’s a distance issue. Is this due to interference and if so, what can I do about it? I have tried changing frequencies on my sector but that doesn’t seem to help. I have my sector set to automatic channel selection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks … Jay

Do you have clear line of sight? Are the customers within the antenna angle/coverage?

Hey @JayK welcome to the Cambium forums!

So what troubleshooting steps have you taken to try to figure out the problem and can you give us some more details?

  • Did this happen all of a sudden?
  • What are the clients RSSI?
  • What are the clients SnR?
  • Have you checked the client side for interference, maybe a home WiFi router set on/near AP channel?
  • Are there any obstructions blocking the SM?
