has anyone run a 300csm or 3000L radio beyond 100M. Is there an ethernet POE extender i can use inline or will it be fine. I have a customer coming up and the run looks like it would approach 500’ from where radio see tower and the customer suite
Sure, you can use a poe extender acording the voltage of the devices, if I recall correctly, it can double the max distance (200 Meters) but is usually used when the distances are btw 101 an 190 mts
Yes, the MikeoTik Gaper work well.
Plus they make a good case option
When going past 300’ we have been using fiber + DC wires with these.
It has been reasonably reliable.
