We authenticate our wireless customers using PPPoe protocol using either software “winpoet” “windows XP” or a linksys router. Would like to see a PPPoe client built into the SM soon.
We also use PPPoE and would love to see this feature. Would save us a pile of money on tech support if all SM’s did the PPPoE and simply handed out a NATed IP or something. No configuring custommers PC instead they just plug in and go.
