TITLE: Radios Update Multiple Times with CNUT Update Package for R4.2.3

DESCRIPTION: The radio software packages identified had incorrect version strings
for the radio software (extra hidden characters) which caused SMs to go into
upgrade mode unneccessarily. This only affected operators who were using the
AutoUpdate capablity of the APs along with CNUT.
Problem occured because the APs checks for an exact match between the SMs current
software version string and the version string in the CNUT package to determine if
the radio should perform an upgrade. The extra hidden characters made the
comparison fail even after the SM had completed an upgrade to release 4.2.3.
HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT: This problem exists on your current CNUT software package
if on the CNUT main screen you seen SMs “Starting AutoUpdate” after you know the
radio has already been successfully updated to the 4.2.3 software release.
RESOLUTION: A new set of installation files for release 4.2.3 for use with CNUT
have been created with out the incorrect version strings. These files are
available from the Canopy website (http://www.motorola.com/canopy) under the
Support --> Software Updates link. The operator should download these new
packages as appropriate (AES and/or DES) and link them into their CNUT environment.
The previous versions of 4.2.3 for CNUT should be removed and not used any more.
The new packages are distinquished from the old packages on the Canopy download
site by the names

Canopy System Software v4.2.3 (AES) for CNUT - version 2
The new files, once downloaded, will have the following names

CANOPY423_AES_V2
