820S
Because if a duel core radio fails you have downtime to replace the whole radio head destroying your SLA, where as 820S is two physically individual radio units in H and V for 2+0 opperation. If one dies, least you have half speed to route priority traffic/cusomers.
IMHO.
Good point.
While PTP820S and PTP820C can both used for 2+0 setup, but there are certain pros and cons people shall aware when using PTP820S.
Pros:
- Provide hardware redundancy with PTP820S
- Lower price (based on MSRP) compare to PTP820C 2+0 solution
Cons:
- PTP820S can't support 2+0 XPIC
- PTP820S doesn't provide physical link aggregation, customer will need external switch for link aggregation (similiar like PTP800 2+0 setup)
