Is it allowed to skip firmware release versions that we are upgrading from, for example, versions 3.x.x and go directly to the latest version 5.x.x.

Hi @zica49,

it is not prohibited. But there were some major changes in some releases. So outcome can be related to your particular configurations. I would definitely try it on a bench first.
Safe side will be a step upgrade via versions 4.4.1 - 4.5.6 - 4.7.1 - 4.8.1 - 5.10.1

Should ePMP that was upgraded from version 3.x.x to 5.x.x be reverted to the previous version 3.x.x and go through the chronological firmware as you wrote 4.4.1 - 4.5.6 - 4.7.1 - 4.8.1 - 5.10.1

When it is on 5.x.x there is no need for a downgrade.
