So if I want to manage elements in Prizm, I need to have the SNMP read only checkbox un-checked. Correct?
I think Prism overrides the SM settings.
If not, and you do need to uncheck the read only, then make sure you change your SNMP community string. You don’t want little Joey wannabe a hacker getting into your network.
Yes, we’ve already got a common SNMP string in all our SMs. The only other problem we are having is accepting CMMs into Prizm. It says invalid password even though the CMM has the same password, gateway, subnet mask, & community string as the APs that were accepted fine.
