Is there a work around for this?
Did not have issue with remoting in before.
This is probably a silly question, but have you changed the admin password away from the default?

I had not been using the default password, as said above I did not have issue logging in remotely prior to this. Will have to truck roll, thank you for your time.
If you are using cnMaestro, you can change the password remotely. Maybe the customer factory reset the router.
@Cheree_King had it right, customer probably reset it and the password was default. a cnmaestro template should fix the issue for you.

there is not a guide that I know of other than the help documentation but if you makea template using the gear icon in cnmaestro and templates option set it so that the following flags are set
DBID_NORMAL_WEB_PASSWORD=[pull from your working config]
BasicPass=[pull from your working config]
DBID_SUPER_WEB_PASSWORD=[pull from your working config]
