Hello
can anyone help me with this :
what is RADIUS?
and if its software how can i download it?
Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) is a networking protocol that provides centralized Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) management for users who connect and use a network service.
RADIUS was developed by Livingston Enterprises, Inc. in 1991 as an access server authentication and accounting protocol and later brought into the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) standards.
Because of the broad support and the ubiquitous nature of the RADIUS protocol, it is often used by ISPs and enterprises to manage access to the Internet or internal networks, wireless networks, and integrated e-mail services. These networks may incorporate modems, DSL, access points, VPNs, network ports, web servers, etc.
RADIUS is a client/server protocol that runs in the application layer, using UDP as transport. Network access servers, the gateways that control access to a network, usually contain a RADIUS client component that communicates with the RADIUS server. RADIUS is often the back-end of choice for 802.1X authentication as well.
The RADIUS server is usually a background process running on a UNIX or Microsoft Windows server.
Cambium's WISP Toolbox includes a ready-to-go RADIUS server (or so I am told):

Nice
so can i manage the QOS of my PMP100 SMs and bock unwanted ones using RADIUS and WISP?
Yes, the WISP Toolbox includes a RADIUS server, which will allow you to explicitly permit your own SMs and send them configuration info, like QoS
You can do this even without a radius server using the authentication key feature.
Hello
here iis what happend with me
i have PMP100 AP and i have 5 costumers connected in it but i supprise that i found a new one called "No Site Name ", i tried to do the Preshared key but he returend back , i dont know how , im sure he dont know the key , is there any ather way to block him.
Thanks
Nope. He should not have been able to connect once you enabled pre-shared key access on the AP. It sounds like it didn't take the setting.
