I have been asked by a client to recess XV2’s into the ceiling during a property refurb. The position of the vents on the unit suggest this is not ideal. He only wants the front face visible. Has anyone tried recessing an XV2, was performance affected/any other issues? Many thanks.

would the vent holes in the XV2-2 be blocked or just open to the air above the ceiling? Could you create a sort of T-bar rail above the ceiling which you could mount the XV2-2 on and just have the front face inline with the ceiling tile?
