Reset to Default

I cannot get into the radio. I have tried the 10 second power 5 second no power option to get into recover mode… I can not log in
I have set my computer to 169.254.1.4 &. then to 169.254.1.2
I have tried to connect to the radio (169.254.1.1) in several different browsers… nothing

is there another way to reset the ptp650

Hi Mark

The PTP650 does not have a “reset” button like our PTP500/PTP600 radios

The recovery mode is entered by a short break of the power, as you describe

Procedure:
1 Apply power to PSU for at least 10 seconds.
2 Remove power for 5 seconds.
3 Re-apply power to the PSU.
4 When the unit is in recovery mode, access the web interface by entering the default IP address 169.254.1.1.

Hi Mark
I have had another look into this. In the latest revisions of teh user guide the duration of the “short power cycle” has been reduced to 2 seconds.
Please try removing the power for 2 seconds to enter recovery mode.
