Is there any update on incoming shipments to the US for restocking? If its going to be too far out, I’m seriously considering making the jump to convert some sites to a competitor. The 2nd NASDAQ deficiency notice is more fuel for that fire. Additionally, While I was initially stoked to see a note from the CEO, it didn’t really build confidence.
We’d consider moving to the 450v line, but the stock levels for that is equally disappointing. Considering it is the new “flagship” of the 450 line, I had expected to see more inventory available.
Do you have backorders in with a distributor, or just watching stock status? Assuming you have orders in, what is your distributor telling you for when they will be fulfilled? I’m being told some 450b products that were moved from manufacturing in Mexico to Thailand have customer backorders from the beginning of the year. You won’t see distributor stock status nonzero until all these backorders are filled, so I hope you’re in the queue.
I wouldn’t focus on stock price or CEO statements unless you’re a shareholder.
I don’t want to sound like a j*rk, but did you just say “stock price falling from 3.16 to 0.36 in a year is nothing to worry about, and that is after nice recovery from 0.27 - only shareholders need to focus, whereas customers spending money and looking for a stable long-term support, warranty and future need not” ??
Please add “competitor going from 144$ to 408$ in the same period of one year sure is nothing to worry about”.
I so love those 4600c… I don’t want them to vanish.
There are other venues to discuss stock price. But the original question about delivering product is valid. Cambium has lots of 450i/b backorders, they need revenue and cash, it’s concerning they aren’t delivering product to fill those backorders. And of course it’s a problem for WISPs who need the radios for new installs, upgrades and repairs. You mention 4600c, that’s ePMP, but it’s unclear if that product line will also experience supply chain problems. If it’s just the move from Mexico to Thailand, then maybe you don’t need to worry. I was told that Cambium brought in a lot of inventory prior to the anticipated tariffs but I can’t independently verify that.
I own a few shares, but I think being at least aware of a companies stock price is important. More than the stock, but the other news of them being in default on some loans or something similar to that. The network I work on has a fair amount of 450m and 450i AP’s, and change is slow for us. I pay close attention to the companies performance because we need to think years in the future and stretch our investment as much as possible.
Also… No, we don’t have orders in. We weren’t at a restocking point until recently. We had placed a fairly large order (for us at least) about a year ago. Just getting to restocking levels after some increased installation activity from our RSP’s. We’re a Public Utility District, and currently only provide wholesale services to RSP’s on our network.
The reason for me watching the stock, is I am going to push here and try to move to them. On paper, we could upgrade our entire network with the competitor, for about the original cost for 3 of our larger 450m sites. ~$8500-$10000 per ap vs $300-800 (depending on sector and AP) per AP. Hell, we could probably fill 10 shipping containers of the competitor stuff for the cost of our original 450m, 450i and 450b investment
JFC, got our timeline back from our VAR. Cambium restock update from our rep’s rep gives an August timeline. So I guess prep to buy some stocks as the price continues to drop, then watch your money double once they actually have product to sell
