Roaming 802.11k, 802.11r, and 802.11v on R195 Series?

Does the R195 series support the roaming standards 802.11k, 802.11r, and 802.11v for use when a second R195 is used in the home to expand coverage?

Thank you, Chris

Hi Chris,

cnPilot Home Routers doesn’t support roaming.

Will the new R-Series routers support roaming?

Why does the R195 documentation promote using it as a wireless repeater if it doesn’t also support roaming?

Thank you, Chris

Our Ideology to add REPEATER functionality is to provide feasibility to extend network, which is regular use case in Home deployments.

Will raise and track roaming feature request internally with team.

Thank You.

I recognize extending a network is a regular case in home deployments… I also recognize most of the competition supports these protocols for roaming when extending a home network. For example: Calix, UniFi, TP-Link, Google WiFi, Nest WiFi, etc.

Why doesn’t Cambium support this? When will Cambium support it?

Thank you

Will track this as an enhancement request and try to support in upcoming release.

@CAM_TSK did these features ever make it to the R-Series?
