Hi after searching one of the Canopy Radios I cannot see a way to save the current config,
Is there a way to do this that I am missing or should I put this in the list of suggestions.

what exactly are you trying to do ?
We have a script that will blast a new SM with a standard config we have.
Only other way I can think of is to write and script to do snmp queries to pull all the info.
