Signal-to-noise in CnMaestro?

I have seen where I can see the values for SNR in the CnPilot devices but not for ePMP or PMP450.  Is this in newest On-Premise release or something planned in the future?

Thanks will check and get back

Did you check the device details tab page in cnMaestro ?

Hi ,

SNR values for ePMP and PMP devices can be downloaded as part of cnMaestro reports.

From the Home page got to Reports->Devices page and select the type as either ePMP or PMP and clicking on download will download the report which will be having both Uplink and Downlink SNR as part of the Radio details.

KR.

Beg to differ.

ePMP Device - Show as selectable fields, but can't confirm what gets exported - No ePMP in our system:

PMP Device - Neither field is available for selection:

ePMP Performance - Show as selectable fields, but can't confirm what gets exported - No ePMP in our system:

PMP Performance - Shows RSSI and RSSI Imbalance as selectable fields, but SNR is not available.  Also, while the both Uplink RSSI headers are on the report, no data is exported:

Hi Luis,

Sorry for the mistake in my last reply. Yes SNR is available for only ePMP devices and not for PMP. For PMP we are yet to add SNR Uplink and Downlink details. Also your concern of Uplink RSSI and RSSI Imbalance data missing is already noted down by the engineering team as you also posted this as part of another post in 1.6.1-r10 build release.

Here is the ePMP SNR values which are downloaded as part of devices report for my ePMP devices

Uplink SNR (dB) Downlink SNR (dB)
37 52
37 36

Thanks for the update KR.

Also, would it be possible to add "Firmware Version" to the "Towers" > "Dashboard" > "Device Status" widget?

Thanks again

Hi Luis,

We will not be adding this info to the Tower->Device status widget as it is already available as part of the software update page at any level System/Tower/Site . Select any Tower/Site and Click on the Software Update page on the right hand side . Just hovering over the Distribution By Version will show how many devices has which firmware version as part of the Tooltip and clicking on that will filter the devices having that version.

If you still feel this needs to be added as part of the Device Status widget , please let us know .

Hi KR,

Yes, I still feel it should be there.

While I understand that one can't display every aspect of the "Device" status on the "Tower" dashboard, "Firmware Version" would fit right in with Type, Name, Status and SM count.  It's not like the data isn't already captured or that the widget lacks real estate.  I also realize I could expand the tower view and select the individual "Product".  However,  the "Dashboard", in my opinion, is supposed to be a "Status at a Glance" display.  Likewise, there should be no need to navigate to the "Software Update" page unless one were wanting to change the firmware.

Thanks

Hi Luis,

We are tracking this as part of a ticket and will be addressed by engineering team based on priorities.

KR.

KR,

Thanks for the feedback.
