Do we need SIM cards for authentication in the CnRanger solution?
What about the PLMN ID? will it be visible of hidden?

Yes, you'll need SIM cards. Our distribution channel sells them in 10-packs, part number LTE-SIM-10.
Regarding PLMN ID visibility, I have asked internally and will post the answer here when I get it.

In current release cnRanger does not support configuring PLMN ID. It uses pre-configured PLMN.
When UE registers to eNB, it displays PLMN ID of the network. In next release we are planning to add support for PLMN Configuration.
