Hi Rick,

What product are you trying to use?

Do you want to have two PTP radios fed into one antenna at the central location, or are you trying to plan a simple PMP network with an AP at the central location?

If you want to have two individual PTP links sharing a single antenna, this may be possible with a splitter at the antenna, depending on the product and frequencies you want to use, but unfortunately LINKPlanner doesn’t allow you to do this as a single plan and produce a complete BOM. If you are using unlicensed band radios, then they will need to be synchronized.

If you are going to be using an AP, then you need to create a hub site at the central location, which will then automatically add the first AP, which will appear in the PMP Links section. If you are nto yet familiar with planning PMP networks in LINKPlanner then I would recommend that you take a look at our quick tutorial on PMP to get you started.

If you would like to send us further details, you can also contact us directly on the LINKPlanner email address linkplanner.ptp@cambiumnetworks.com .

Regards,

Rachel
