I want to change my sm’s mac address.But I telnet to sm,run “mac” command,error message show:"mac address has programed,update failed"

Why do you want to do that? I think MAC address is burned into ROM of the unit, so for the change you need some soldiering 
MAC is same as serial number. Did you ever wanted to replace the serial of your car?!

Are you sure that the MAC address can be changed (saved)?
No it cannot. You cannot change the MAC address on your units. This has been rumored in the past but no one has been able to come up with a procedure to do so.

I think you have been working with too many routers lately. 
The only reason I can see to change a mac address is to hack into someone elses system that is using BAM. :shock:
