The 2.6 MIB includes up/down total available, used and overhead frame time per second. Does anyone monitor these values and/or find value in them?
I'm hoping to see the % used come up in SNMP since I feel that would be extremely easy to monitor and set alarms for. Until that arrives, though, I'd like to have something to keep an eye on.
i do record those values, but my snmp software won't calculate % for me. I do check them manually from time to time to make sure we are not over doing things. it would be nice if a pre caculated output could be recorded like whats displayed on the gui.
Do you have any warning/alert conditions? Do you just check to see if the available frames is >0 ?
