Release 13.4.1 has the following Enhancements and Fixes:
Enhancements:
Configurable option to allow ICC connected SM to use the AP’s Mgmt VID instead of the SM’s own Mgmt VID
Updates to Event Logs for Radio Reset Cause
Display IP of the RADIUS Authentication Server of each SM on the Session Status list
GUI Option for FreeRun to work at boot up
Minor Configuration File changes
Trap for GPS Sync loss will now be sent if the radio is rebooted.
Interference Stats on the SM
Update to the reboot message in the event log caused by CNUT
Syslog Improvements
Disconnect and Stop messages are now supported in RADIUS
Enhanced Jitter Stats on PMP 100 SMs
“Aiming” page (previously Alignment Tab). The Aiming page is similar to spectrum analyzer where the SM will scan and list all scanned APs on its page (and the AP Evaluation page) but will not come into session with any APs. Two modes of operation are supported:
Single Frequency Only: The SM will scan only the configured frequency and list all scanned APs
Normal Frequency Scan List: The SM will scan all checked frequencies and list all scanned APs
Fixes:
SNMP OID GetChanBandWidthFlash returns the correct Chanel Bandwidth for SMs
NAT Port Mapping now works properly with Configuration File
Memory corruption that may occur when using RADIUS
Importing/exporting of the Authentication Key now works properly with Configuration File
900MHz FSK and OFDM frame alignment fixes
P8 radios now correctly load 13.4.1
Fix bug where DHCP Option 81 is incorrectly populated
Fixed “varbind error” in CNUT
Fixed an issue where AP resets after a user logs in, when Authentication is set to “Remote” or “Remote then Local” and Accounting is enabled without configuring all three Accounting servers.
whispGPSInSync and whispGPSOutSync traps are repeatedly sent out when the radio loses sync
Config file: Shared secret of RADIUS server does not export correctly
Unable to ping from the telnet interface of an SM in NAT mode to a PC connected to it on its LAN interface
Yes, this is the last release for all three platforms. Only exception is that we will continue to support PMP 430 SMs to interoperate with PMP 450/450i APs in 14.x releases.
We typically use CNUT (ver 4.9.18) and the AP auto-update feature to update SM's under an AP. We've updated all the AP's to 13.4.1, and enabled auto-update like we've done for every prior release... but now CNUT is telling me that every 13.4 SM is not updatable. Here's a sample from the log: "03/02/16 12:05:51 INFO Host: AP:[10.214.15.42].LUID:[015];ESN: 0A003E25EC54;Message: Update Not Applicable. SM:(MAC=0A003E25EC54 )"
Is there a new version of CNUT that addresses this issue or something I'm missing here?
Yes, these are PMP100's in the 2.4 and 5.7 bands. P9/P10 boards.... NO P8's. AP's are advantage, SM's are regular.
We've tried a couple more things too... Like rebooting the AP's, and then rebooting the SM's... disable and re-enable auto update... we've been able to use these tricks in the past to get SM's updated that were skipped for whatever reason. These tricks don't seem to be working this time.
Here's some extended CNUT log output. AP is PMP100 2.4 P10 running 13.4.1. All SM's are P9/P10 and running 13.4:

OK, so it does look like auto update is working using my normal method... it's just taking way way longer then I'm used to. After I got done with dinner I checked a few AP's I had set to auto-update, and they did in fact update all of the clients to 13.4.1... it just took 1 hour to finally do it. For whatever reason, every time I've used auto update before it's done it way way faster. I'm going to go through the rest of the AP's and check, but I've already checked a handful so far and everything is good. Sorry about the false alarm.
Has there been any significant changes from Beta 13.4.1 (build 14) ? My whole PMP100 network is currently running on build 14 and were just wondering whether it's going to worth the effort to upgrade to 13.4.1 stable?
Another strange thing I'm noticing, is that multiple AP's (2.4 and 5.7) are now showing:
Channel Frequency :
None
On the main status page... although the channel IS set, and working properly. A reboot does not seem to fix this.
I've updated a couple 900 sectors so far. All seems to be fine. I also just updated a 5.7 sector and it properly shows the current frequency on the main status page.
If this truly is the final release for FSK, I really hope we don't find a bug somewhere later. Everything looks good so far, so lets hope not.
George - If YOU find something, we'll fix it... but only for you!
Just kidding. Of course, if a critical issue arises on this software, we will need to ensure usability for our customers and we will support the necessary fixes. I, also, am hoping this does not occur, because I want the engineering teams focused on our new products and amazing features that are intended to be released in the near future.
