sonicwall vpn client issue with cambium nat

Hi, one of our customer need to uso a vpn with a sonicwall client; it seems that the cambium nat does not permit to the vpn to login into server. It happen with cisco vpn client too; I tryed to enable the dmz but this not made changes. Maybe the only way to solve it is to disable the nat and use pmp450 as bridge.

Is there a way to solve it without disabling the nat ?

thanks, Mauro.

nobody has the same issue? i think the NAT of the cambium sm sometime is a a problem; the vpn doesn't work....and SIP connection from outside doesn't walk thorugh the nat; the only way to fix it is set the SM in Bridged Mode, and intall  a 3rd party router....; but i would like to find the  solution without installing more hardware....

Hi Mauro,

We are looking into this issue and will get back to you soon.

Thanks,

Did this ever get resolved?

We experience this and have always bridged units but now we have a client for whom we cannot bridge...

Running 15.1.3

Hi,

Please let us know if you are still experincing this on 15.2?

We made some fixes for this in previous releases.

Thanks,

Chitrang

I am now using 16.0.1

I have a client who again requires VPN using IPSEC (for an Aruba box) and for whom previous workarounds do not work.

NAT is working for all traffic on a laptop but VPN for Aruba is not coming up. There is no local management console on the Aruba so I have no diagnostics.

Client cannot set up VPN on laptop to test either.

Hi,

What VPN client do you use to setup VPN ?

I believe the client is using these:

Thanks,

We are setting up this enviornment.

Meanwhile can you send me SM engineering.cgi

Hi Chitrang,

I do not currently have an appropriately configured SM to grab engineering.cgi from.

We will be testing deployment again soon with customer and I will send on then.

Barry

Hi Chitrang,

I have just sent you email with engineering.cgi of an affected SM.

Barry

Bump.

Further feedback from customer is their provider advises Aruba box requires NAT-T (udp port 4500).
