"Specific Channels" - 5GHz

Just wanting to get some kind of confirmation - as the UI isn’t really giving me the info I need.

When selecting “Specific Channels” in cnMaestro under AP Groups / Radio / 5GHz - is it correct that we select channels based on the 20MHz Channel number.

  1. If using 40MHz - should we be setting “Specific Channels” to the 40MHz Channels instead (CH38, CH46, etc) or will these be invalid.
  2. If we select CH36 or CH40 - they will both be on the same 40MHz Band (CH38 - CH36+CH40) or will the be CH36+CH40 and CH40+CH44 (which should be invalid).
  3. If “2” is incorrect - then do we need to exclude the “-1” Channels if looking for 40MHz (and in turn the tails/inbetweens on 80/160MHz)

Asking as I need to confirm what will happne with DFS channels and unfortunately don’t have time to Lab - New to Cambium and have “climbed a mountain” to get things in and running - Now need to make sure that things are correct.

Currently have “36 40 44 48 52 56 60 64 100 104 108 112 132 136 140 144” as my value (using UNII-3 for Backbone) but as none of those are actually 40MHz channels - and nothing in controller states 40MHz Channels specifically (only these 20MHz Channels @ 40MHz Widths) - I’d just like some clarification.
Just to Note - If I was using 40MHZ Channels - they would be “38 46 54 62 102 110 134 142”, to match the above 20MHZ channels - would that be valid?
