I have observed a lot of discussion about PMP, ePMP, Enterprise Products, cnMaestro weirdness, and yet not much about the Fiber products. I am not certain how successful the Fiber line was or was nor – if perhaps it is part of another portfolio in recent events. However, I was wondering if an update on where the Fiber product portfolio fits at this point could be addressed? Is it something that was not purchased at all? Is it part of the Enterprise portfolio even though it seems it was heavily marketed as an ISP solution perhahaps with a lot of users still in limbo?
I’m being told by various Cambium employees with knowledge surrounding the deal that Univastu bought the fiber line when they acquired ePMP and enterprise wifi. For whatever reason, this was not mentioned in the recent Univastu press releases.
Based on some quick research, Univastu still lacks a direct U.S. presence. For U.S.-based ISPs, it would be prudent to closely watch how—and if—they establish operations here, balancing the potential opportunity against the obvious support and supply chain uncertainties.
I emailed solutions@cambiumnetworks.com on Friday the 16th and asked the same question because there was conficting info on the internet.

Hello
We have an extensive installed base of Cambium Fiber ONT and ONU products. We are just trying to get a definitive answer on whether that product line is included in the purchase agreement with any buyers such as Univastu or if it has been dissolved.
Please just a simple yes or no would suffice.
Reply from Cambium
Hi Michael – yes, fiber is included in the Univastu acquisition.

Ellen
Thanks for sharing that.
