Port Application Default Comments
TCP 21 FTP Open This service can be enabled or disabled from the "Configuration | Security" page in the GUI.
TCP 23 Telnet Open Diagnostic CLI access to radio. This service can be enabled or disabled from the "Configuration | Security" page in the GUI.
UDP 69 TFTP Open Used to host SM upgrade image on AP. This is used when "SM AutoUpdate" is enabled in CNUT and the "File Server Type" is set as "The Access Point". This service can be enabled or disabled from the "Configuration | Security" page in the GUI.
TCP 80 HTTP Open This is used for GUI access. This service can be enabled or disabled using the "Web Access" field on "Configuration | Security" page. The system will not allow you to disable both HTTP and HTTPS at the same time.
UDP 123 NTP Open Used for synchronizing time with an NTP server. You can configure NTP settings on the "Configuration | Time" page. The port will remain open even when NTP server is not configured.
UDP 161 SNMP Open Used for SNMP access. You can configure SNMP mode (SNMPv2c, SNMPv3 or both) on the "Configuration | Security" page. SNMP cannot be turned off.
TCP 443 HTTPS Closed Used for secure access to the GUI. This service can be enabled or disabled using the "Web Access" field on "Configuration | Security" page. The system will not allow you to disable both HTTP and HTTPS at the same time.
TCP 1080 LUID-HTTP Open Used for accessing SM GUI via the AP GUI using LUID. There is no explicit enable/disable option for this port. It is enabled when HTTP is enabled.
TCP 1090 LUID-HTTPS Closed Used for secure access to the SM GUI via the AP GUI using LUID. There is no explicit enable/disable option for this port. It is enabled when HTTPS is enabled.
UDP 4444 Internal Closed User for internal communication. This is open when DHCP client and HTTPS are enabled together. Starting with PMP 15.1, this port is no longer visible on the network.
