One of the most requested features by users with cnHeat has been to make it easer, more economical to plan a network. The new Tower Eval feature (Release 2.3.0) attempts to do that.
We offer two new SKUs specifically for finding the best tower location.
Part Number | Description | MSRP (USD) |
---|---|---|
HT-SUB-TEF-1MN | cnHeat 1 month fixed tower eval licenses, 10-pack package, priced per package | $180 |
HT-SUB-TEM-1MN | cnHeat 1 month movable tower eval license | $250 |
The first SKU is meant for users who will only need intermittent access to test tower locations. It provides a 10-pack of fixed Tower Eval sites. (The user can test 10 different tower site locations along their own timeframe.) Each credit sits in their cnHeat project indefinitely until a new site is placed on the map. When the site is placed a 30-day subscription starts for that tower site. These fixed sites cannot be moved more than 100m from the original location.
The second SKU is meant for heavy users. The credit sits in their cnHeat project indefinitely until a new site is placed on the map. When the site is placed a 30-day subscription starts for that tower site. These type of sites however are moveable and have no restriction on the number of times it can be moved and re-used over the subscription term.
It’s important to note that Tower Eval sites differ from regular sites in the following ways:
- The user is only allowed one prediction at a time. Running an additional prediction will overwrite the first.
- To speed up calculations we don’t run all customer install heights from 0ft to 80ft like a regular cnHeat prediction. Instead we ask for a static install height (e.g. 25ft above Ground) when the prediction is submitted.
- Predictions are only rendered down to 2m resolution instead of the normal 1m resolution.
- Tower Eval sites are not eligible to participate in the BDC Export or the Embed feature.
- Predictions are automatically hidden from Read-only users to help avoid confusion for any CSRs using the tool for prequalification. This can be overridden under Project configuration.
- IDENTIFY summary results are automatically supplied as a .csv in the prediction notification email sent to the user who submitted the prediction. (They are not accessible through the UI of the tool.)
