Troubleshooting Web socket connection issue with the cnMaestro Cloud server when Firewall is enabled

When the device is not able to onboard to cnMaestro cloud server and if the DNS test to cloud.cambiumnetworks.com is also working fine then please check the device logs and if you see anything as below

Add FD to the pollfd 21 events 1

This means there are Web socket connection issues with the cnMaestro Cloud server due to which device is not onboarding. Please check the firewall settings .

If Firewall is enabled in the Network then the web socket connection will not happen with the cnMaestro cloud server. In this case user has to whitelist the *.cloud.cambiumnetworks.com url in the firewall.

Cloud.cambiumnetworks.com will be redirected to a particular cloud server depending on the region where the account is created. So even though cloud.cambiumnetworks.com is whitelisted in firewall device will not onboard. 

So whitelisting *.cloud.cambiumnetworks.com  will resolve the issue and devices will be able to make web socket connection to cnMaestro cloud server and device onboarding will be successful.
