Unable to connect 4625 to AFC

I’m testing the 4600 and 4625 in our shop. The 4600 is connecting to AFC, but the 4625 will not connect to AFC even when set to Fixed Client. In Configuration–>Radio, the AFC System Status shows ‘1’.

Thanks

AFC token is missing on the device.
Please raise the ticket with Cambium Support Team to get it fixed.

Thanks

I’m having the same issue. We have our proxy all setup, devices communicate with the AFC but the 4625 SM we were testing states that it’s missing AFC token so it will not transmit at max power. It is not currently deployed as it wasn’t fully functional, if I put it on DHCP temporarily, would it grab said token and store it?

Otherwise, what is the process to fix this?

You will want to open a ticket with support I think. There are other threads on the forum about the same issue.

Hi @ncounterman,

you can onboard this radio to cloud CnMaestro. It will install the token automatically

Yeah, we use local CnMaestro. I did end up putting it on DHCP and connecting it to cloud CnMaestro, it got it’s token. Then I had to revert to static management and point to local CnMaestro again. It’s time consuming as every time a change is made on the SM I lose access for like 5 minutes, but it worked.

Hi @ncounterman,

thanks for your update!

5 minutes downtime sounds like STA has to scan all frequencies and bends. If there is 1 frequency only selected it will take around 60 sec to boot up and another 20 sec to connect.
