Urgent: problems installing lm in a 3 server BAM redundancy

I am doing a 3 server redundancy BAM installation. I have followed the instructions on the user manual.
But I am getting the error message in the license manager saying that the
motocnpy: The desired Vendor daemon is down”.

The following occurs when I type in lmutl lmstat -a

lmutil - Copyright © 1989-2004 by Macrovision Corporation. All rights reserved.
Flexible License Manager status on Thu 8/25/2005 11:42

License server status:

bam1: license server UP (MASTER) v10.0
bam2: license server UP v10.0
bam3: license server UP v10.0

Vendor daemon status (on bam1):

motocnpy: The desired vendor daemon is down. (-97,121)

Feature usage info:

Users of BAMServer: Cannot get users of BAMServer: No such feature exists. (-5,222)
Users of dummy: Cannot get users of dummy: No such feature exists. (-5,222)

Also when I check the canoy.log file I see this

Level: 0 Time: 2005-08-25 12:19:38 File: businessrules/FlexLicenseManager.cpp Line: 264 Message: Unable to check out BAMServer for this reason: The desired vendor daemon is down.
1) Check the lmgrd log file, or 2) Try lmreread
Feature: BAMServer
Vendor:Host: bam1
License path: /usr/local/Canopy/FLEXnet/license_files//bam.35006305 -
-2.2005.Jun.10_license.lic:/usr/local/Canopy/FLEXnet/license_files -
FLEXnet Licensing error:-97,121
For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing End User Guide,
available at “www.macrovision.com”.

I tried re-installing the licenses and doing lmreread but to no avail. I also re-installed the LM and BAM many times but again to no avail.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

I am experiencing the same sort of problem. Where the EMS server is failing to start with the same logging. My instance started after trying to install additional licenses.
