Using 4x4 ePMP MU-MIMO Sector w/4600L

I have a small tower site and wanted to save a little money, so I am thinking of deploying three 4600L APs in a North, East, and South arrangement.

I could use the RFE 90deg WB horns, but I am not really happy with their gain especially the -6db dropoffs on the one site I have deployed one.

I have been happy with the Cambium 4x4 6Ghz sector on the sites where I have 4600 APs. Can I use the 4x4 6ghz sector with a 2x2 radio without issues? If so which ports on the antenna do I connect the 4600L to?

I also thought this setup would allow easy migration to 4600 4x4 APs later down the road if the site grows.

You might look at the LinQ LPA5968DPH 60 degree antenna. A good match for the 4600L and reports on performance have been very good. 19+db gain.

Thanks. I did look at that but where I work we do not buy via CC and only do Purchase Orders with Net Terms so until LinQ is sold at vendors like Streakwave or ISPSupplies they are not really an option.

Hi @terintamel ,

there should be now issues if you connect 4600L to chains 0,1 of 4x4 sector.
