We would like to be able to control bandwidth of a specific client connected to an SSID.

On this device, we can limit the speed of the entire SSID and we can set a global limit for each client connection to that SSID under the access control tab in cnMaestro. This is not what we are looking for exactly.

What we are looking for is to be able to take specific client that is connected to an SSID, and to limit THAT specific user.
Other devices will have no restrictions on the AP, while the chosen user is limited.

Hi Jonathan,
I think this is possible through the Access Control Policies. You can create a policy for a specific IP address and limit the throughput for that IP address.

Wouldn’t this necessitate the use of long term DHCP leases? Wouldn’t something on a MAC address level work better?

Following with interest. For us, as there is a firewall upstream which controls the internet traffic we do our shaping there.
