What is the actual max wattage of the 4625/4525 SM?

What is the actual max wattage of the 4625/4525 SM? The online spec sheet says 28W, but the power supply that is included with the SM is only 15W. Does that mean the SM is really only a 15W device and the spec sheet is wrong?

Side note where do I get a replacement power supply for the 4625/4525? I cannot find the model that comes with the SM on any of the Cambium vendor sites.

Can I just use a 48V 24W Ubiquiti power supply as a replacement? (UBI-POE-48-24W-G)

It appears the input power on the 4525/2625 is wide ranging. During replacement of F300-25’s with 4525 we actually found that they power up just fine on 30v power supplies. That may not work or be unstable if its a long cable run. Handy if you are just swapping customer CPE to upgrade, no need to go in the house and swap power supplies. We have multiple running that way for over 2 months now with no issues. The 4500C does require the larger 56v power supply. ISP supplies carries generic “replacements”.

Thank you, but I want to know the max wattage not the voltage. Once I know how many watts it pulls at max I can then figure out what voltage/amps I need on the power supply.

To me it seems the spec sheet is wrong as I cannot imagine that Cambium would supply a 15W power supply (56v 0.268amp) for a 28W device like the spec sheet claims.

I don’t know what the actual MAX draw is, but I see between 6~10 watts consumed by a F4625 under load.

4625 consumes about 8w. It may work on 24v but not in the specs…

Sure is a shame as they could market the 4625 to swap out the other guys 24v stations.
