Why 30V Surge Arrestor ping lost?

Hi,

I installed cnVision HUB and micro with 30V surge arrestor for my customer, but I found ping lost.
So I took off arrestor, the ping no lost, all work fine.

And I test the arrestor separate. PC1 ----> arrestor ----> PC2, ping lost. Why?

Hi,

Sounds like a surge suppressor issue. Did you tried another SS ?

We bought more than 1 unit, but in my test, all units test result are the same. So I fell strange.

Hi,

This can happen due to grounding impedance mismatch. Are you using STP cable while connecting SS ?
It is recommended to use STP cable while using SS b/w PoE and radio.

Yes, I am using STP cables and the arrestor grounding. So I dont not why this happen.
